61 On Seeing Simple Truths - On the Helped and the Helper

EXPERIENCE has taught us that this place where we unwittingly hide brings out the deeper, darker side of life (obsessions) for the helper.
Roles are unconsciously reversed, and the helped has to provide for the helper.
It makes the needy soul responsible for the supposedly healthy soul.
This is abuse.

60 On Seeing Simple Truths - On the Helped and the Helper

EXPERIENCE has taught us that there are those who seek out the weak and offer them a false sense of hope and help.
This sets up an unhealthy dependency between them; a dependency that creates a place that allows both the helper and the (unwitting) helped to hide.

Beware!
Danger Is Present.

59 On Seeing Simple Truths - On the Helped and the Helper

EXPERIENCE has taught us that this process of modeling/helping always means that the one who supposedly has something to offer, leads, and the person who supposedly has less, follows or submits.
In theory, it can only work when both partners in this exercise take a direction together along the paths of helpfulness, hope, and health.
To the outsider, it may initially appear that the helper is different than the helped.
Not true.  The teaching-learning cycle is perfectly balanced for all involved.
Thinking we are greater than the other is only our ego’s attempt at a grandiose understanding.  It is a distortion which tends to disrupt the deeper healing process.

No Forcing.  Just A Simple Leading Process That Is Often Best Combined With Gentle Listening.
They Will Follow.
