EXPERIENCE has taught us that, for this newfound place to have sufficient power to operate and
penetrate into the deeper, darker recesses of our minds and our past, it needs
a steady, conscious commitment to truth and honesty. Know this: the old mythological defensive strategies of
denial and delusion will struggle to hang on.
But, as this commitment to deeper truth and honesty is
joined with our daily rituals of being, this relationship and its natural
maturation process will begin to reveal insights to us that are both unsettling
and reassuring, often at the same time.
